I'm going for a walk. Maybe I'll jog, maybe I won't. I just can't believe how much time it took for me to find something to wear without feeling like I'm in a sausage casing or a potato sack! I hate having a postpartum body...it takes sooo long to feel normal again.

Once you commit yourself to going on a regular basis your mind and body will thank you for it.
My problem's not so much the commitment as it is the logistics. I have a sitter (my MIL) one day a week, sometimes less.
When my kids were little I would use a tandem jogging stroller.
Usually I'd have two sleeping kids by the time I was done jogging/walking.
My jogger's only a single but we do have a bike trailer that will carry 2 and convert to a jogger. I'd just have to wait until David's a little bigger and then find a good flat wiiide place to take it. I love my off-road BOB stroller but I don't want to spend another chunk of $$$ on baby equipment. Heck, if we didn't live in the hills with narrow roads and crazy drivers, I'd love to ride my bike with the trailer.
It's true, those tandems are serious road hogs. When I used to jog the kids in mine, I would practically run people off the trails at Lake Chabot. It's funny because now when I running, I get irked by all the people who practically run me off the trail with their tandem joggers and tandem bike trailers.
Erin, since I'm not job hunting any more, maybe I can take the kids for a couple of hours if you can work it with your feeding schedule. Breast feeding is a whole other issue. But as David gets older, particularly eating more foods, your feeding times should get farther apart, shouldn't it?
The shoreline trails in Hayward, or at the San Leandro Marina are flat and wide and paved.
