Indigo BFL

After much searching, I finally found the perfect fiber to spin and knit something special for my husband. This was one of my finds at stitches West 2009 from A Verb for Keeping Warm. 4 oz black (brown, actually) BFL wool dyed with indigo. It spun up nice and quickly into a 2-ply Aran weight but some of the indigo was lost in the first washing. I still like the colors and they're very much what my husband likes...very natural. I started a simple beanie and had gotten half way done with it before discovering that my cast-on row was too tight and it won't fit. So...back to the beginning! The picture is of all 4 oz packed onto my little Victoria bobbin.
